Morning Worship is led by members of the congregation. Thank you to Graham for organising the service. Ian and Katherine are celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary, and invite you to stay for celebration cake and coffee after the service. Evening Worship at 6.30 pm will be led by Revd Mike Hall and will include the Sacrament of Holy Communion. We extend a warm welcome to any visitors to our church. Please join us for coffee after Morning Worship in the Small Hall. The minister’s vestry is available for private prayer after the morning service. Anyone needing prayer either for themselves or others, please write details in the blue book in the vestibule. Alternatively please have a word with one of the stewards. The Church is open for YOU every Friday from 1-2pm. If you have not already handed in your Gift Day envelope, it will be gratefully received today or next Sunday. This Week Saturday 24 July 9.45 am – 4.15 pm Quiet Day at The Grail Centre. A day apart with Therese of Lisieux. Flyers with slips for completion are in the vestibule. Cost £15 50. Further Ahead Wednesday 28 July 2.30 pm Wednesday Fellowship when the speaker will be Revd Mike Hall. Friday 30 July 8.00 for 8.15 pm Prayer and Praise led by Charlie. Saturday 31 July Summer clean up of the premises, commencing at 9.00 am. Sunday 1 August If you would like to help with this Local Arrangements Service please speak to Ian Johnson. Alpha 2010 We are planning to run another Alpha course at Cannon Lane beginning on Wednesday 15 September at 7.30 pm – 9.45 pm. This is a twelve week course with a half term break. Another course will be running on Thursday lunch times from 12.30 pm- 2.30 pm at Love Lane Methodist beginning on Thursday 9 September. The Alpha course is an opportunity for anyone to explore Christian faith in a relaxed and low key atmosphere beginning with a meal together. Please think if you have friends, family or neighbours who may be interested or perhaps your own faith needs rekindling. There are some registration forms and invitations in the vestibule.
