Cannon Lane and Love Lane Methodist churches are again running Alpha Courses starting in September. We are taking over STARBUCKS COFFEE SHOP in Pinner for the evening sessions which begin on Wednesday 14th September starting at 7.30pm and finishing at approximately 9.15pm.
The course at Love Lane Methodist Church is a lunch time one and begins on Thursday 15th September from 12.30pm-2.30pm and will include a light lunch.
The Alpha Course is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed and low key atmosphere.The first meeting is an introductory one and just a taster so if you come along and feel it is not for you that is fine! For those that have been on any of the previous courses, it has been an intensive look at the basics of the Christian faith, and an exploration of its relevance to modern day living. There have been many difficult questions raised, some really interesting reflections by everyone attending and we didn’t lose any of those that originally signed up to do Alpha, which must be a national record. I’m sure that it is the good food, and warm welcome, and fascinating discussions that kept everyone hooked on coming each Wednesday evening.
