We are planning to run another Alpha Course at Cannon Lane beginning on Wednesday15th September at 7.30pm--9.45pm.This is a twelve week course with a half term break. Another course will be running on Thursday lunch times from 12.30pm--2.30pm at Love Lane Methodist beginning on Thursday September 9th. The Alpha Course is an opportunity for anyone to explore Christian faith in a relaxed and low key atmosphere beginning with a meal together.Please think if you have friends, family or neighbours who may be interested or perhaps your own faith needs rekindling. For those that have been on any of the previous courses, it has been an intensive look at the basics of the Christian faith, and an exploration of its relevance to modern day living. There have been many difficult questions raised, some really interesting reflections by everyone attending and we didn’t lose any of those that originally signed up to do Alpha, which must be a national record. I’m sure that it is the good food, and warm welcome, and fascinating discussions that kept everyone hooked on coming each Wednesday evening.
